Among the most beautiful regions of the Cote d’Azur, Cap Ferrat is a peninsula just off of Villefranche-sur-Mer. A former fishing village, it has become one of the most sought-after pieces of real-estate in the world.

Hiking around St. Jean Cap Ferrat.

As everywhere on the coast, you will find private and public beaches. The beaches on the peninsula of Cap Ferrat can be found in small coves along the coastal walking path.

There are many beaches all around the peninsula, accessible by walking along the trail that goes all the way around the peninsula. The walking trail is called the Chemin des Douaniers. To hike the whole peninsula takes about 1.5 hours, with lots of little beaches and parks to enjoy along the way. We recommend starting at Port de Saint-Jean so you can pick up some food for a picnic before heading off on the hike. Stop at any beach that piques your fancy for a sea-side picnic with spectacular views of the sea.

Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat has many public beaches. These beaches are generally easy to access, often with life-guards, and are ideal for a relaxing day. 

Paloma Beach

This is an absolutely brilliant beach on Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. You will have a beautiful view of エズ村, with lots of evening shade. Paloma Beach is the iconic Riviera of the ’20s. This beach of Cap Ferrat is a little piece of paradise that has long been the favourite of famous personalities like Matisse, Roger Moore, Sean Connery, Elton John and Tom Cruise. Thrill-seekers can take the pontoon to reach rentable jet-skis or go water skiing. For those who prefer relaxation, you can enjoy a drink at the bar or have a lunch break at the restaurant.

Passable Beach

This private beach, northwest of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, is located in the harbour of Villefranche and offers a superb view of Villefranche-Sur-Mer. A pebble-beach, the private part of the beach has sunbeds chairs and umbrellas. You can enjoy a drink in the bar or sit at the beach restaurant and enjoy gourmet cuisine with flavours of Italy.
