In an alley of the Old Nice, behind Cours Saleya, do not miss the Bistrot d’Antoine. This restaurant in Nice is a small neighborhood address as we like.
This small temple of gastronomy proposes a precise and refined French cuisine, gourmet and without artifice. The details are found in the flavors and the smells that jump us delicately in the nose. You can enjoy good traditional dishes (kidneys, black pudding, lentils / sausages …) in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Don’t forget to book in advance, because this place is really popular. They don’t have a website but just give them a call or ask our receptionist at Villa Hostel to call them for you and ask a table on the 1st floor, it is more cozy.

Le comptoir du marché is a wonderful establishment that combines hospitality, quality cuisine and is revealed as the best gourmet bistro in Nice.
Everyday the talented chef build his card with the fresh products that he find at the Cours Saleya Market just nearby. The food is deliciously and sophisticated in a simple way. You will have the choice among a dozen of dishes proposed on a slate. A varied choice of fish, offals and meats like Jarret in a “pot-au-feu” style, beef tongue and slice of Roquefort, fresh tuna half cooked with coconut and artichokes … And for dessert, we add the French toast or the little jar of chocolate cream.
The presentation of the dishes is very neat. And the quality of the service remains faultless: a smiling, young and dynamic service.
It is strongly recommended to book.
