Where to party in Nice.
The Cote d’Azur is well known for its nightlife. The city is full of bars and venues, both well-known and hidden, to party until the end of the night. After spending the afternoon on one of Nice’s stunning beaches and having dinner at any of the fantastic restaurants in the city, you have many options for heading out for the night. We’ve put together a list of our favorite spots for you to check out.

1. Villa Hostels Happy Hour 6-8PM: 1.50€ Beers.
Our bar is the cheapest in Nice, so it’s a great place to get your night started. With chill music, lost of space, and cheap drinks, our Happy Hour is always a good time. From 6 – 8 PM, you can enjoy mixed drinks for 5.00€ and the cheapest beers in Nice for just 1.50€. After Happy Hour’s over, the House Beers are just 2.50€, so still super cheap! Join us for Happy Hour before heading out for a night on the town.
2. Pub crawl in Nice
If you like to party and meet new people, then the Villa Hostels Pub Crawl is made for you.
After Happy Hour finishes in our bar (6 PM – 8 PM), the Pub Crawl starts at a nearby bar at 9 PM. You’ll be part of a group of travelers hop from bar to a unique bar with our local guide. You can meet people from all over the world, and will get access to free drinks, play wild games with new friends, and much more! Sign up at the hostel reception on arrival to book a spot, or at any time during the day or evening.
3. Old Town Pubs & Bars
Wayne’s Bar
The Wayne’s Bar was established in 1991 and is a classic spot that blends French clientele with a London pub feel. It’s a great place to party, and they have live music most nights. Start here for a good pint and good times with English-speaking tourists and expats, as well as local students and young professionals.
Later in the evening, everybody gets up on the tables to dance, with live music. They show all major sporting events, including cricket and rugby, on large flat-screen TVs.

Bulldog-Pub / Pompei
The Bulldog Pub, also known by its original name, the “Pub Pompeii”, organizes live rock concerts every night, in their bar with rock-themed décor.
Showcasing some of the best bands in Nice, Bulldog provides a platform for emerging talent and artists. Bulldog is a good old’ fashioned dive bar, with oodles of rock character. It’s a must-see bar in the old town, where all generations meet for drinks and dancing in close quarters. If you walk in, don’t plan to leave until 4 AM.

4. Drinks & Dancing with a Sea-View.
Waka Bar
A relatively new establishment in Nice, Waka Bar has quickly become a favourite of both locals and tourists, for it’s refreshing cocktails, friendly and fun staff, and sea-side view with terrace overlooking the Mediterrannean. Waka is a Maori term meaning Canoe, a throw-back to the owner’s New Zealand heritage. Waka Bar sports a relaxed vibe all afternoon and then pumps up the energy with local DJs at night playing House and EDM. You’ll find a good mix here of both locals and tourists, dancing inside, lounging outside, and partying in the Nice summer heat — when things get to hot, the beach is just accross the Promenade!

Movida

Movida is the place for sunset drinks. Head up to the 2nd-floor terrace overlooking the Promenade des Anglais and enjoy one of the delicious cocktails. It’s a great spot to enjoy the sunset and start your evening of partying with drinks and DJs.

High Club
High Club is the largest discotheque in Nice, an institution that’s hosted and featured the largest panel of artists in Nice, from Lil ‘Jon to Feder, Martin Solveig and Avicii, the biggest names in the EDM business have passed through its doors. Glam

The number 1 gay club of the French Riviera, Glam is a true party space, for live shows and performances and late-night partying that mixes LGBTQ+ and straight clientele. The décor is chic, with baroque furniture, and has become a popular destination in Nice. Glam features electro and disco house, karaoke, fashion shows, and drag. Programming is diverse and varied, but always fun, and always a party.

6. Nightlife at the Nice Port
Le Boston Bar
The Boston Bar is a trendy cocktail bar at the port of Nice. The bar is open all year round and has a retro atmosphere and friendly bar staff, along with great patio seating overlooking the harbor. Here, the cocktail is elevated by meticulous bartenders. A DJ provides smooth and retro beats every night.

Ma Nolan’s – Irish Pub Port
Ma Nolan’s pub is a popular and well-known destination for locals and tourists alike, with delicious pub-fare and frosty cold beer. An outdoor terrace looks over the harbor and affords beautiful views of the sea and Castle Hill. All major sports games are played on large flat-screen TVs throughout the bar.
