At Villa Saint Exupery we are proud of our hygiene and cleanliness.
Our housekeeping team works hard to ensure a high standard at all times. In these difficult times we believe we have a duty of care to our guests, visitors, and staff to ensure their safety. Be assured that our primary concern is that all premises are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Like the rest of the hospitality industry, we strictly follow all procedural regulations and recommendations provided by the WHO and by both local and national authorities.
The following measures have been introduced to ensure your wellbeing:
- Social Distancing is required both in our public areas and rooms.
- Masks and other hygienic products will be available for purchase in our vending machine.
- Masks are mandatory within the premises except for when eating or in rooms.
- Additional deep cleaning throughout our hotels has been introduced. Rooms are cleaned daily, and the common areas are disinfected at least 3 times per day.
- Antibacterial gel is freely available at several points throughout the hostel.
- All linen is washed regularly and at high temperature.
- Breakfast is no longer be a buffet. We now offer separate individual portions for each guest.
- To prevent the spread of the virus, the kitchen is closed until further notice.
- Gym usage has been limited to 1 person per hour and you must sign up with reception to book your time slot, equipment is cleaned between uses.
- Beverages and Snacks are offered from a vending machine.
Cancel, Rebook or Change Reservation Dates
We understand that traveling in these times can bring uncertainty. The last thing we want is to add to those troubles. We are currently offering free cancellation for up to 24h in advance. Reservations labeled as “non-refundable” will be given additional flexibility for rebooking within a 1-year timeframe. You may be required to pay the difference as room prices may vary throughout the year.

Please note: We can only process cancellations and modifications for bookings made directly via villahostels.com. If your booking was made by a third-party online travel agent, you will need to contact them as different policies may apply.
HYGIENE & POST COVID-19 QUESTIONS
Should I travel if I am feeling unwell?
No, you must stay at home and seek guidance from your local authorities. Traveling while sick will put the health of your roommates and our staff at risk.
Is it possible to check-in online?
Our current software does not allow this. Check in must still be done at reception, however every measure has been taken to avoid as much contact as possible.
How is the hostel practicing social distancing regulations?
All staff and guests must wear masks in our hostel. Masks do not need to be worn when eating or in rooms, but at least 1.5m must always separate individuals.
Are the sauna and gym open?
The Sauna is currently off limits. The gym is available, however, for one person at a time and you must register at reception beforehand.
Is the kitchen still available?
To avoid passing on the virus, we have closed our kitchen area. You will still have access to a microwave, toaster, kettle and cutlery.
Can I purchase hygienic products in the hostel?
Yes, you can find masks and hand sanitisers in the vending machine by reception.
What activities are you still offering under these circumstances?
We are still working with the Free-Walking-Tour-Nice company. They are currently offering Tours in Nice and Monaco. For more information about their tours, please go to: https://www.freewalkingtournice.com/
The famous Riviera Bar Crawl and other activities are currently on hold, we are waiting for local restrictions to be lifted when they will resume.
Are you going to stay open during the winter?
We are doing our best to stay open however we are only taking bookings from January at the moment.

What are your disinfection routines?
To encourage good hygiene practices, deep cleaning throughout our hostels has been increased in line with the standards recommended by local authorities. All surfaces in private and public areas will be cleaned daily, thoroughly, and disinfected frequently, at least 3 times a day.
