This is a flagship event of the Riviera. Come discover one of the largest and oldest Carnivals in the world, dating back to 1294, with unforgettable shows and parades… From February 17^th to March 4^th 2012.

The giant, colourful carnival parades, taking place day and night, are animated by more than 1,000 musicians and dancers from around the world.

In addition, you may witness the elegant flower battles. This is a parade on floats composed of the most beautify floral arrangements, and characters dressed in extravagant costumes. You are welcomed to a feast of pagan origin and are invited to throw flowers yourself.

The theme for 2012 will be “King of Sport”. Parties, fun, parades, street theatre and fireworks are promised!
